As the dedicated Growth specialist focused on the Commercial segment at Zip, you will play a critical role in developing and executing creative, fast-moving programs will the ultimate goal of generating pipeline for our Commercial Sales team. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and GTM Ops to identify opportunities, design novel campaigns, and rapidly launch and iterate on GTM experiments.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from zero, and has a bias toward action. You’ll be expected to take vague growth goals and turn them into high-impact, measurable results — whether through process optimization, outbound innovation, segment-specific campaigns, micro-events, or unconventional channels.
Design and execute net-new growth marketing experiments to drive pipeline for the Commercial sales team
Partner closely with the Commercial Sales team to identify bottlenecks and work with them on targeted programs and campaigns
Move quickly: test ideas, measure results, learn fast, and scale what works
Collaborate across GTM teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives such as website optimization/CRO or crafting persona-specific messaging
Build scrappy workflows and lightweight tools to help Sales scale successful programs
Analyze program performance and deliver insights to leadership on what's working and what’s not
Help define Zip’s future playbook for pipeline generation, grounded in experimentation and iteration
4-year undergraduate degree from a top school (preferably in a quantitative or business-oriented field)
2–5 years of experience in growth or performance marketing at a fast-paced startup
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and take ownership of initiatives from concept to execution
Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly without full information
Strong analytical skills — ability to use data to evaluate outcomes and drive decisions
Clear XFN communicator who can align stakeholders and bring others along for the ride
Strong project management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience partnering directly with Sales or Marketing teams
Familiarity with outbound campaigns, demand generation, or GTM programs
Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
Experience working in B2B SaaS or high-growth environments
SQL or data visualization tool experience is a plus
Based in SF or willing to relocate; in-person role preferred
The compensation range for this role is $130,000 – $170,000 OTE. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
