GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination of marketing and development strategies, specifically for FCS’ health and behavioral healthcare programs. It is dedicated to the promotion of the agency with an emphasis on increasing engagement of our communities and supporting marketing and development needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the maintenance and planning of multiple social media accounts. Assess the effectiveness of all website and social media efforts via tracking, analyzing, and presenting meaningful measurements for both marketing and non-marketing audiences.
2. Help maintain the agency websites and keep all program pages up to date.
3. Assist in the creation and launch of agency and/or program marketing and fundraising campaigns.
4. Coordinate the production of print materials, such as business cards and brochures.
5. Assist with annual reports, as well as the production of written and electronic newsletters.
6. Assist with managing public relations and media-facing materials for the agency’s health and behavioral healthcare programs, while promoting and strengthening brand identity in the community.
7. Respond to client questions/comments received through website and/or Google reviews and connect them with appropriate staff.
8. Represent FCS and its health and behavioral healthcare programs by participating in community activities, events, and collaboratives, and build relationships with relevant community affiliates as requested or assigned by supervisor.
9. Ensure marketing and communications materials adhere to branding guidelines.
10. May be assigned specific program responsibilities in addition to duties described.
11. Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA/HRSA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Experience with marketing and PR strategies, as well as brand promotion preferred.
3. Experience using social media outlets and analytics.
4. Ability to balance multiple projects at once while still maintaining a meticulous attention to detail and consistently meeting deadlines.
5. Ability to perform duties independently and as a team.
6. Videography and photography experience a plus.
7. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
8. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation) if applicable.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1-year related experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to hear and talk on the phone and/or face-to-face interaction required. Must have good vision for close work. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to travel to provide services in other offices and locations to meet client and agency needs.
