Program Manager II, Product Operations, Platforms and Devices

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  
• 2 years of experience with product operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  
• Experience working in a product operations or strategic operations role.
• Experience with SQL and managing and navigating dashboards.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager on the Engineering Infrastructure and Operations team, you will work with executives and key leaders on building a new function within an organization.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

• Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs, independently maintain project trackers and status reports, and identify and execute on program tasks including managing dependencies. 
  
• Own operations for the global organization, including annual planning, headcount, OKRs, and more.
• Structure and execute on projects independently. 
• Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness through change management, removing redundancies, and driving operational excellence.
• Develop clear, concise and compelling communications to business and technical stakeholders.
