In this high-impact role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment for critical engineering leadership hires, working directly with executives and founders to shape hiring strategies. You'll drive bespoke search efforts, build strong candidate pipelines, and help scale world-class technical teams. Accountabilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior technical leadership roles (Senior Manager to VP), including calibration, sourcing, interviews, and offer negotiation.
  • Design and execute customized search strategies for niche leadership positions in platform, infrastructure, security, product, and data engineering.
  • Build and nurture pipelines of high-impact passive candidates through proactive sourcing, org mapping, and strategic engagement.
  • Partner closely with founders and department heads to define role expectations and implement structured hiring frameworks (scorecards, rubrics, interviews).
  • Analyze funnel metrics and candidate feedback to optimize recruiting strategies and boost conversion rates.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, acting as a trusted advisor to executive-level candidates navigating multiple opportunities.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with global stakeholders and maintain momentum across time zones using clear documentation and communication tools.
  • 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 3 years focused on hiring engineering leadership within high-growth startups or scaling environments.
  • Demonstrated success running complex, highly-targeted searches and identifying “needle in the haystack” talent.
  • Mastery of advanced sourcing methods, including Boolean searches, org chart mapping, and leadership pipeline development.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous settings; you’re autonomous, solutions-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable using data and market insights to inform and adjust recruiting strategies.
  • Executive-level presence and communication skills; you can engage senior technical talent with compelling storytelling and clear value propositions.
  • Comfortable working remotely with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time (PST).
  • Base salary range: $153,000 to $161,000 USD, with equity participation opportunities.
