About the Role
We are looking for a Global Talent Sourcing Director (or Senior Director) to build and scale a world-class sourcing function for our AI workforce and contractor teams. In this role, you will be responsible for creating global sourcing strategies that can scale talent acquisition pipelines across 50+ domain categories (with focus on coding and STEM) quickly and effectively. You will bring deep experience in technical talent markets, particularly in contractor or gig-based sourcing, and be passionate about solving complex workforce challenges in the AI domain.
This is a strategic and executional leadership role that will directly impact how we source, qualify, and activate thousands of contributors globally. Must also be willing to work EST hours.
Core Responsibilities
- Own global end-to-end sourcing strategy at SuperAnnotate from channel design and candidate engagement to qualification and handoff to operations.
- Build and scale global sourcing pipelines to support 500–1,000+ technical contributors within 2–3 week periods, based on project demand.
- Lead sourcing efforts across multiple geographies for high-volume AI/ML data projects, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and diversity.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to access global pools of technical contractors, crowd contributors, annotators, and AI workers.
- Work closely with Project Operations, Product, and Customer Success to anticipate workforce needs and plan accordingly.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and sourcing metrics to track performance and continuously improve.
- Build and mentor a sourcing team and scale agency partnerships as needed.
- Act as a thought leader and internal consultant to the executive team on best practices for building distributed technical workforces.
Who You Are
- 8–12+ years of experience in global talent sourcing, talent acquisition, or technical recruiting, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success building contractor-based or crowd-based technical talent pipelines at scale (AI/ML data projects highly preferred).
- Exceptional ability to source technical talent globally under tight timeframes, using both traditional and non-traditional methods.
- Experience partnering with or managing vendors, sourcing platforms, or remote contractor ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of sourcing automation, outreach tools, marketplaces, and sourcing ops.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders around hiring needs and priorities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: scrappy, hands-on, and comfortable building from scratch.
- Familiarity with AI data operations, annotation pipelines, or large-scale data enrichment projects a strong plus Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments with dynamic needs.
- Preferred location: EST
Base Salary Range: $160k-$190k
