Director, Field HR

Taco Bell, a leading Mexican-inspired QSR brand under Yum! Brands, is seeking a Director, Field HR to lead its People & Culture function supporting 13,000+ US operations team members across 450+ restaurants. The role focuses on strategic HR leadership, talent development, culture enhancement, and operational excellence in a hybrid work environment.

  • Ability to counsel senior executives on complex HR matters.
  • Project and process management skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working in both union and non-union settings.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement HR programs, policies, and strategies to support business growth and employee experience.
  • Build leadership and P&C capability to ensure talent readiness and position Taco Bell as an employer of choice.
  • Cultivate an inclusive culture where employees feel they belong and can thrive.
  • Lead talent acquisition, development, retention, organizational design, and employee relations initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing HR team focused on strategic analysis and business impact.
  • Drive People & Culture projects and coordinate a calendar of engagement activities across US operations.
  • Ensure compliance and effective support across both franchise and company-owned restaurant environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
