Responsibilities
- Lead accounting for healthcare and technology-specific standards including revenue recognition, stock compensation, and leases.
- Provide accounting guidance on complex contracts with healthcare providers, payers, and strategic partners.
- Develop technical accounting memos for significant transactions such as licensing and financing.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations on accounting implications of regulations like HIPAA.
- Develop and maintain company accounting policies.
- Partner with sales and operations to evaluate contracts and ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance.
- Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP- and SEC-compliant financial statements and manage XBRL tagging.
- Assist month-end and quarter-end close processes focusing on complex accounting areas.
- Manage internal controls and compliance with a focus on healthcare operations and technology platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, FP&A, product, and operations teams to integrate financial and operational metrics.
- Support financial evaluation of strategic initiatives and investor presentations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
