The Role & Team:
As Associate Director of Social Media & Content Marketing, you’ll focus on creating content that drives Business Insider’s commercial growth. You’ll write social posts, emails, and marketing materials that promote our advertising solutions to existing and prospective clients.
This is a hands-on role focused on writing and publishing weekly content across LinkedIn and email, with a primary goal of growing our social presence and building a high-performing B2B email program. You’ll manage both content creation and performance optimization.
You’ll also produce compelling sales enablement materials and marketing collateral about our brand and products, and support broader brand initiatives including award submissions and PR opportunities.
We’re looking for a natural storyteller with demonstrated experience in writing and producing marketing, email, and social content — someone who brings together strong editorial instincts, platform expertise, and a solid grasp of marketing strategy and analytics.
The Associate Director of Social Media & Content Marketing reports directly to the Director of B2B Brand Strategy and sits on the Global B2B Marketing team. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Brand Marketing: Create polished marketing materials and sales presentations that showcase our brand and product offerings by leading both writing and design efforts. Use engaging storytelling and marketing strategy to position our products in a way that resonates with decision-makers and drives interest.
