Job Description

The North American Sales and Business Development Director will be Responsible for managing, coaching, and motivating 5 Regional Sales Managers and 10 Regional Sales Representatives, to increase sales revenue and market share in the water purification systems and laboratory system markets. In this role it is expected that the Sales and Business Development Director have a HUNTER approach when it comes to driving the sales culture at Elga Labwater, In this role you will have a direct impact on the sales culture, we are looking for individual who can drive more sales with current and key distributors, along with finding new direct commercial customers. We want someone who has a hunter first mentality and can help transform and motivate a team into being the best sales hunters possible. In this role you will shape the sales culture and lead sales development efforts across North America, including the Canada region. This role requires a very strong focus and determination on delivering sales targets and supporting long-term sustainability and growth in the organization by being able to close and identify new business opportunities, including large multi site commercial and industrial clients in the market for water purification systems. 

Qualifications

*BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree

*Proven track record of leading a successful sales team

*Someone who has managed sales HUNTERS and has HUNTER mentality experience

*Strong experience in HUNTING for new sales, tendering, negotiating and closing deals

*Proven success working with clients in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences sector

*Strategic thinker with a hands on approach when it comes to getting involved with sales

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Lab water/ Waste water a plus

*Passion for sales and results driven

*Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands quickly and effectively 

*Experience building relationships with key clients and stakeholders

*Experience in trade shows a plus

*Experience in managing a sales team that are responsible for key accounts and distributors 

*Experience in driving high level sales strategies and processes

*Experience in developing marketing initiatives in targeted sectors across the country
