Customer Success Specialist

Follett Software partners with educators to advance education by providing technology solutions that improve school and student outcomes. They are seeking a Customer Success Specialist to manage contract renewals, maintain high retention rates, and collaborate with sales teams to support customer success and drive revenue growth.

Skills

  • Customer success and renewal management expertise
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude with Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Problem-solving and proactive customer engagement
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract renewal cycle for assigned customers across the U.S.
  • Serve as primary contact for customers during the renewal process.
  • Create and deliver accurate renewal quotes ahead of contract expiration.
  • Negotiate and resolve customer concerns to secure renewals.
  • Document all client communications and renewal status.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on customer renewal status and retention.
  • Follow standardized renewal playbook and process improvements.
  • Participate in sales and customer success team meetings.

Education

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent
